もうひとつの連獅子/An another Renjishi

Fumiko Yamato, a dancer who spend almost of her life for Japanese traditional dance. This is a story about finding "valuable things" by positively looking back her life full of turbulence, and handing it to the next generation somehow. It is similar to the ways of Japanese dance which wraps sadness and joy with the beauty.
She was born in 1942. She entered the one of biggest five dance school at nine, and grow up enough to have student in her teens. Although there was brilliant achievement such as performing a solo performance many times at the National Theater, suddenly she disappeared from the center stage. She left a "school" that can get evaluation and respect only by name. She abandoned her way of living as a "woman" of marriage, childbirth, childcare. And finaly she stopped dancing in the theater with showing "This is an art."
Unconsciously we are apt to think almost same quality "do not know" and "does not exist".While getting intoxicated by the words of “beautiful Japanese tradition”, we might have lost the way to evaluate them except whether it is famous or not. To viewed from the opposite side, like I and you who are not famous, will forgotten as an ordinary human being, will not have valuable things to inherit anything.
This project have been started to know a story behind the selection of her life and also the question about "what and how to inherit?” . Through countless dialogue with her and her disciples, I faced our common question. "Are there any meaning of my life for others?".
