surroundings
2008-2009 JPN
There are as many dramas as the number of characters who have entered the angle of view. By intentionally extracting the existence of the others who were supposed to pass unconsciously and reconsidering it as selfishness as one scene in the play, a new story is created.
Suppose that Mr. A and Mr. B had sit in a terrace seat with coffee. If I set the camera to a distance of 100 meters, the small building with terrace seats will turn into a scene of a story where a big monster of the unknown body tries to look into it from behind. The existence of Mr. A and Mr. B will switch to the garnish of another stage, and you will notice that the characters coexist unconsciously without being mixed. It seemed like a symbol that we naturally hold our ego while thinking of countless words every day and that they are not essentially intermingled with the environment that physically surrounds ourselves.
And even if it is a fancy play, the position relationship with the momentary linked surroundings forms a prejudice or a story and shows the real world from a direction different from data coverage.
